FOC-wall- distribution board /-surface mount housing boxes |
Network cabling is increasingly produced with future-proof and high noise immune glass fibres. If distributed in radial shape across the building or the floor, this cabling method does not require any further active components.
For this purpose we offer several wall distribution boards and surface mount housing boxes in order to splice the FO cable, or to lead (lay) the cable (das Kabel führen) to the sockets by using pigtails. |

FO outlet |

The advantages of a fibre optic network can only fully develop, if the FO cables are laid directly to the workplace (fibre to the desk). Network cabling with fibre optics demand undoable, sturdy and pluggable connectors between the FOC Cables laid in the cable conduit and the patch cable. FO outlet need to be installed to the wall outlet or the floor outlet with connected socket safely and protected in a way securing that the connectors can be easily plugged and unplugged, and therefore the FOC routeing does not go below the minimum radius. There are numerous product solutions available, as: - Socket OAD/K - especially for conduits
- Socket OAD/S – for pre assembled breakout cables.
- Socket OAD – with integrated splice holder
- Socket OAD/B for installation in floor outlets with connected socket
For these FOC-sockets we offer adaptor plates for all common adaptors - ST Duplex
- SC Duplex
- LC Duplex
- E2000 Duplex
- MT-RJ

Pigtails & Patchcords |
FOC-Pigtails with unilaterally assembled pluggable connectors are used for parting multi-conductor FOC cables through fusion splice. They are equipped with connectors without additional cord grip, as FOC panels and splice boxes grant sufficient protection against ambient conditions. FOC patch cables are available in several completions and lengths: - Simplex, duplex, flattwin (stable connector style with double sheath).
- Fibre types as multimode (also OM3) or single mode (e.g. Bend Bright fibre)
- Different connectors as: e.g. ST, SC, FC, LC, E2000 as well as PC- and APC grinding

Pre-assembled FOC-cables |
Generally there are two types of pre-assembled cables: - Bundle conductor cables with assembled splitters
The fibres of bundle conductors are central in most cases, they are lead into single conductors (approx. 2-3mm) by partitioning body and in the end, and they are assembled with the favoured connector. - Breakout cable
This cable consists of fibres that each has a separate sheath (diameter approx. 2-3mm). There is no need of a partitioning body for the assembly the required connector, it is just necessary to lay open the breakout units to 0, 50 - 1m.
In both cases our clients decide themselves on the types of fibre, number of fibres and the length of the cable. |
