Although data cables cat. 5 have already mostly been replaced by cat.6 or 7 cables they are still available

An economic alternative to the Cat. 7 cable is the Cat. 6, which provides nearly the same electrical properties

Cat. 7 cables are currently used in the majority of projects. The good electric properties provide sufficient reserves if combined with high quality connectors.

Well trained assembly personnel are essential for the result of the measurement. After professional training and respective certification a project-oriented 15 to 20 year-guarantee can be provided.

• Overall screen: screen with different optical coverage (35% to 60%)
• Sheath material: FRNC for interior or special type with PE-sheath for exterior
• Colour: mostly orange respectively grey or according to clients needs

For future-proof cabling a combination of common copper cables plus empty tube technology (see also Blown Fibre System) is used more and more often.

A 3mm empty tube is incorporated within the duplex version of Cat. 7 cables..

Subsequent air-injection of a fibre unit with up to four glass fibres of the required kind can be done at any time and for a reasonable  price as the re-lay of a FOC cable is not necessary, and therefore expensive constructional changes can be avoided (opening false floor, suspended ceiling or conduit)

[Industrial ambient conditions especially require electrical reserves, which provide the operation of Industrial Ethernet in any case.


For this purpose we offer several versions of this cable type.

Due to the requirements of little attenuation, data cables with a cable diameter AWG22 and good screening properties are applied.

CATV cables as well as video resp. Hf –cables belong to this category.
